What Can I Expect from Sculptra?
After your treatment, you may experience mild or moderate redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site that should resolve naturally in several days. For faster healing, you can apply a cold compress to the injection sites. You should avoid sun exposure as much as possible after your injection and use sunscreen. Many patients will have visible improvements shortly after their appointment with final results appearing after several months when the natural collagen production strengthens the complexion. If performed in a series over the course of 3 – 4 months, your results may be visible for as long as two years.
