What to Expect from Chemical Peels
On the day of your chemical peel, you will be asked to lie in a relaxed position while we administer your chemical peel. Your skin will be cleansed before applying the personalized exfoliating solution to your face and/or neck. We will spread the solution onto your skin, allowing it to set for a certain amount of time, which will be discussed in your consultation. Then, we will wash the solution off and apply a neutralizing agent. Based on the type of chemical peel you receive, your skin may peel and itch anywhere from a few days to two or more weeks. No matter how much your skin itches during the post-treatment process, it's important not to pick the skin off as you may cause scarring.
